Hockey is more than a sport. It brings people together from all over the world of all different backgrounds onto a sheet of ice. It was a sport built on honor and pride. All those who play develop a strong bond with one another becoming one family, one team. It can unite a community. For all of November, your Florida Tech Panthers are proud to announce our 4th annual Shutout Cancer Fundraiser. All proceeds will go directly to quality of life upgrades for the inspiring children of Nemours Children’s Hospital in Orlando. Your donation and your involvement will help support these kids and their families as they go though these tough times. Our players, coaches, and fans will fight alongside them, as one team. Together we will Shutout Cancer.

This month, we wear purple as a symbol of strength. Let it stand for those who are currently battling the disease. For those who are gone but never forgotten as well as their families. Let it celebrate those who have won the fight and give everlasting hope to all. We recognize every single patient. Their stories give us strength, making us optimistic of the day mankind will Shutout Cancer.
